Connie V. Spivey, CPA, CPC, President, has served as lead executive recruiter and President of AccountSource since founding the company in 1998. She also has extensive experience in accounting, both in private industry and public accounting. She has served as Controller for Gresham, Smith & Partners, Director of Finance for Advanced Integrated Technology and Assistant Controller for the United Methodist Publishing House, all companies in the Nashville TN area. After serving as Treasurer and Controller for a local national aviation recruiting company, STS Services, she founded AccountSource in 1998.
Connie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Middle Tennessee State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of The Tennessee Society of CPAs, The Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management, The Middle Tennessee Healthcare Executives Association, The Tennessee Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, the Nashville Area Chapter of the American Payroll Association, the Tennessee Recruiters Association, and the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.
Connie recently earned the Certified Personnel Consultant ( CPC) designation form the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS). The CPC is a national designation recognized globally by the personnel services and staffing industry. A CPC must be knowledgeable on employment laws and regulations, as well as the highest standard of business practices set by the NAPS.
